Meet Our Setters!!
ZZ is named after the great ZZ-Top song, Sharp Dressed Man, and we all know that "women go crazy about a sharp dressed man!" ZZ relocated to Colorado this summer to be a full time show dog. He will be specialed occasionally and shown in juniors. He is still available at stud.
Dalton is out of Wink and ZZ. When we did the breeding we definately did not intend on keeping a boy, especially an orange boy. But as he grew, we soon realized we had to keep him. He has the body, shoulders, and front assembly we have been striving for, with an exceptional blend from neck to shoulder. In very limited showing, and before his first birthday, Dalton is halfway to his championship!
We are so excited about this young girl. She is out of Sophia, and combines the best attributes of both her mother and her father. She adds a lot to our breeding program. She has perfect coat, with proper texture and free of curl. And she has a fun personality. We really love this girl.
Sugar is a double "Rockit" grandniece, and is a great example of the breed. She has an incredible front assembly, paired with nice rear angulation and a strong topline. We are very excited about our new girl. She will go to her first dog show in March.
Sophia currently lives with our friends Lincoln and Christy Lloyd, where she is trying to finish her championship. Sophia will be bred again, hopefully this summer. She is the dam of Lena, and based on her first litter, she has a lot to offer yet to our breeding program.
Wink was recently placed and now lives with her daughter Yukon, and her family. We are keeping her page here because we are very proud of our little "schmoo" and we will always love and remember her.
